Though the exterior remains unchanged, carscoops.com reports that the new 2015 Nissan Sentra comes with a slew of standard interior features and upgrades across all trims, eliminating several packages and adding increased value for buyers.
Listed below are the 2015 Nissan Sentra upgrades by trim level:
2015 Nissan Sentra S: The S trim level gets standard automatic headlights, cruise control, USB port, Bluetooth, and illuminated steering wheel controls.
2015 Nissan Sentra SV: The SV trim level gains standard smart entry, an audio display screen, push-button start, satellite radio, and a front armrest.
2015 Nissan Sentra SR: The SR trim adds rear disc brakes and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, in addition to those features listed on the SV.
2015 Nissan Sentra SL: Heated leather front seats and rear disc brakes upgrades now come standard on the SL trim level.
Here’s the story: Nissan challenged Adam Levine, lead singer of pop band Maroon 5. The automaker said Levine couldn’t sing while being driven around at breakneck speeds in the Nissan GT-R. He took them up on the offer.
In the Nissan GT-R test drive video that resulted, Adam starts out sounding good, singing the first few lines to Maroon 5’s hit single, “Sugar.” He maintains control during the first burnout. However, as soon as the GT-R gets into motion, Adam can’t help but yelp a little.
For the first half of the ride, Adam manages to stay focused, though his vocal performance is peppered with nervous laughter and also the occasional howl of delight. Pretty soon, the speed and tight handling of the GT-R immobilizes his voice and he can only utter a lyric here or there. Eventually, he explicitly concedes, “I don’t even care about singing anymore. I’m just going to enjoy this!” His face is lit up with delight. At the end of the ride, he says, “I want to do it again!”
We here at Nissan of Lake Charles are sure this is what you would say if you test drive any of the great new Nissan models on our lot.
Not only has the 2013 Nissan Sentra added a feel of luxury to its interior and a range of stylistic details – it also boasts best-in class fuel economy.
At 34 mpg, the Sentra outperforms every vehicle in its class, outperforming the Jetta, Civic, and Corolla.
The Nissan Sentra will achieve 40 mpg on the highway when properly equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and the FE+ fuel economy package. The FE+ package includes grille shutters and other aerodynamic aids. Non FE+ models still rate at 39 mpg.
Nissan has released details regarding the 2013 Nissan Sentra, and consumers don’t know what to be more excited about- the head-turning redesigned exterior, the elegantly redefined interior or the new transmission that delivers unrivaled fuel economy.
The exterior takes cues from the Sentra’s larger brother sedan, the Altima. Featuring a trapezoid-shaped grill and Nissan’s LED-wrapped headlights, the 2013 Sentra is going to be turning heads everywhere it goes.
Not only has the 2013 Nissan Sentra added a feel of luxury to its interior, but it has coupled that with a slew of technologies, including: a Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) system, NissanConnect with navigation, and Hands-Free Text Messaging Assistant just to name a few.
Nissan has upgraded the Sentra’s powertrain for the 2013 model year. Now powering the Sentra is a DOHC 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine mated to an all-new Xtronic CVT transmission that generates 130 horsepower and 128 lb.-ft. of torque, while returning a remarkable 30 mpg city and 39 mpg highway.

Just in time for Mother’s Day, TrueCar.com has identified the ten most popular cars for moms – and three Nissan vehicles make the list. It looks like the stereotypically dorky soccer-mom van has gone by the wayside! Today’s moms are driving stylish sedans and crossovers, offering both power and family-friendliness.
According to data from last year about women with children and the cars they drive, the Nissan Altima is among the top rides for moms. The midsize sedan has a sporty exterior and a roomy interior, with room for five and over 25 feet of cargo space in the truck. An amped-up engine and great gas mileage also make this an ideal family car. Newly remodeled, the 2013 Altima is sure to be a win with moms (and everyone else) in the coming year.
The five-passenger Nissan Rouge also made the list. With a 50star crash safety rating and accolades from experts and drivers alike, the crossover has been a big hit since its debut five years ago. The midsize SUV can maneuver into tight parking spaces while providing huge cargo space and 170 horsepower.
Rounding out Nissan’s mom-pleasing fleet is the Nissan Sentra, a compact car priced under $20,000. With gas mileage over 30 miles per gallon and seating for five, the Sentra offers great economy for small families.
Nissan of Lake Charles is proud to offer all of these vehicles and many more. And, perhaps a test drive in a new or used Nissan is just what Mom is looking for this Mother’s Day!
Nissan released an all-new global sedan concept at the Beijing Motor Show recently, and just announced that this concept will be the basis for an all-new 2013 Nissan Sentra.
The all-new 2013 Sentra will be launched as the nameplate celebrates its 30th anniversary in the U.S., promising to carry the “innovation for all” theme of recent Nissan renewals. It is set to be released later this summer.
The Sentra is the third of Nissan’s “five in fifteen,” five redesigned models set to be released in 2012 and 2013. The all-new Altima goes on sale this summer and will be followed closely by a redesigned Pathfinder, then the Sentra. The last two redesigns have not yet been announced. The next two models will launch in 2013. Nissan officials have said that, at that time, the OEM will have refreshed 75 percent of its volume, rewarding our loyal owners and attracting new customers into Nissan showrooms
