Nissan unveiled the all-new Juke Nismo at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The Nismo is a sportier version of the Juke that will hit the market in Europe next year and in the United States a little later.
The public got its first glimpse of the Nissan Juke Nismo at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show where it debuted as a concept vehicle, but the vehicle is now set for production.
Inspired by the freakishly powerful Juke-R, the Juke Nismo is a performance model. The Juke Nismo is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged and direct-injected four-cylinder engine, but performance upgrades don’t stop there.
The Juke Nismo flaunts a body kit designed to reduce lift at high speeds by utilizing lower front and rear bumpers and wider wings and side skirts. The Nismo receives a stiffened suspension, unique 18-inch wheels and special torque vectoring system which will increase handling and agility.
The interior of the Nissan Juke Nismo is also race-inspired. The cabin is adorned with a custom sports steering wheel, Nismo gauges, unique dash trim, and special suede-trimmed Nismo sports seats with red stitching.
