Nothing quite says summer like a fantastic car show. It may not be summer yet, but early next month, you can kick off the warm weather by heading out to the 3rd Annual Flying Tigers Car Show. It will be held April 7th at the SOWELA Technical Community College Regional Training Center. You can be sure that many of us here at Nissan of Lake Charles will be going.
This show is guaranteed to be fun for the whole family. Vehicles from a wide range of makes will be on display, ranging from classics to modern hot rods. Furthermore, there will be first responder vehicles to look at and explore along with food vendors and car show awards.
If your kids are feeling squirrelly, take them to the Kids Zone. There, they can burn off some of their energy in the bounce houses, run some remote control car races, participate in an Easter egg hunt, and complete some crafts.
Tickets to the event cost $5 per person and children 12 and under are free. If you want to show your vehicle, early-bird registration costs $30. It is $35 the day of the show. The first 100 registered vehicles will receive a goody bag. All money raised from the car show will go towards scholarship awards and enhancement funds for the college.
Don’t miss your chance to participate in your community while simultaneously celebrating your love of all things automotive.
Auto Show season is upon us, and with it comes numerous new concept vehicles and the unveiling of upcoming models. Nissan, always at the forefront of innovation, has a very exciting season before it – and Nissan has already debuted very exciting vehicles. Here are a couple cars that we at Nissan of Lake Charles are very excited about.
Vmotion 2.0 Concept
This January at the North American International Auto Show, Nissan revealed its Vmotion 2.0 Concept, and it definitely turned heads. Its sleek sedan design earned the auto show’s EyesOn Design Award for Design Excellence. Its exterior features sleek, yet edgy contours that sweep back from front to rear, and its interior takes luxurious styling to the next level with leather seats and wood floors. Furthermore, the Vmotion 2.0 includes Nissan’s state-of-the-art driver assist technologies: Nissan Intelligent Mobility with ProPILOT autonomous driving system.
Titan Warrior Concept
The Titan Warrior is imposing with its tough, rugged exterior that looks ready to take on any terrain. It also features advanced off-road technologies to match its sophisticated, rugged look – called “modern armor” by Nissan designers. Its tough style is matched by its performance capabilities, as the Titan Warrior Concept features a Cummin’s® Turbo Diesel V8 engine, a six-speed Aisin transmission, and special off-road suspension.
You can learn about all of the upcoming Nissan vehicles right here at Nissan of Lake Charles.
