Nissan LEAF Earns Second Consecutive IHS Automotive Loyalty Award

2016 Nissan LEAF

The Nissan LEAF has earned its second consecutive IHS Automotive Loyalty Award, proving that customers still can’t get enough of the all-electric Nissan car.

The LEAF was honored during the Automotive News World Congress held in conjunction with the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, which speaks even further to the award’s prestige.

Throughout the year, IHS Automotive analyzes loyalty among automotive consumers, determined when a household that already owns a new vehicle returns to the market to purchase or lease another new vehicle of the same make, model, or manufacturer.

“We know that Nissan LEAF drivers love the benefits of driving electric—zero spending on gas, quick acceleration and the feeling of driving an environmentally friendly vehicle, to name a few—which is why so many LEAF owners come back and buy another LEAF,” said Andrew Speaker, Nissan’s director of Electric Vehicle Sales and Marketing.

With more than 89,000 U.S. sales and 200,000 global sales, the Nissan LEAF is by far and away the best-selling all-electric car in the world. At Nissan of Lake Charles, its EPA-rated range of 107 miles on a single charge has given customers a taste of efficiency that has them constantly coming back.  What do you think of the Nissan LEAF?  Is it your number one choice for electric vehicle?

Nissan Pathfinder Named Among KBB.com’s 16 Best Family Cars of 2016

2016 Nissan Pathfinder

The 2016 Nissan Pathfinder has been named one of Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com’s 16 Best Family Cars of 2016 for the third straight year.  If that doesn’t prove the Pathfinder is a family friendly vehicle, we’re not sure what does!

“There are three-row crossovers that are newer to the market than the Nissan Pathfinder but this stalwart model remains one of our family-vehicle favorites because of its continuing excellence in offering features that families like,” said KBB.com.

Making it on KBB.com’s list is no small feat. The automotive research company went through great pains to find the best family cars, driving two dozen vehicles for two weeks the way families would. That included using baby seats, watching movies on the rear seats, loading cargo, squeezing too many people in the third row, folding down the seats, pairing phones, and much more.

Ultimately, the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder was ranked among the top three-row SUVs money can buy. KBB.com noted the no child-seat hassle, perfect on-road manners, strong power, and “praiseworthy” fuel economy, all reasons that we’ve noticed keep families coming back to Nissan of Lake Charles for the best vehicles.
